Rolls-Royce Vespyre Soleil Concept – Matt Murphy Design (August 2026)
Project Description:
This independent design study was developed in collaboration with Matt Murphy Design (MMD) to explore a bespoke, uncompromising two-seat sporting car conceived as a respite of modern luxury. Unofficially named the Rolls-Royce Vespyre—pronounced 'Ves-peer', evoking a powerful, unbound, and refined spirit—the "Soleil" iteration was specifically envisioned for a fantasy landscape where an endless summer requires the perfect open-top ride.
My role in this creative partnership was to bring Matt Murphy's vision to life, being commissioned by MMD to fully render and animate the vehicle. To execute this, the digital visualizations focused on highlighting several key design pillars:
- A Timeless Open-Top Architecture: Showcasing a handsome, unrestricted two-seater that feels both classically unbound and entirely modern.
- Ultra-Luxury Detailing: Emphasizing bespoke interior elements, such as a cabin wrapped in hand-stitched leather, complemented by a continuous wood ribbon and polished metal detailing.
- The "Soleil" Aesthetic: Tailoring the lighting, environments, and overall presentation to celebrate sun-drenched, endless summer grand touring.
The challenge was to translate the imposing, regal DNA of a modern Rolls-Royce into a timeless, distilled statement of power and refinement, ensuring the digital realization felt like a plausible, real-world commission.
This project highlights my ability to collaborate directly with independent automotive designers and studios, elevating their conceptual works from initial models into fully animated, photo-real visualizations ready for high-end portfolio display and global media coverage.
