For the first time, McLaren is trading absolute track purism for genuine everyday practicality, introducing a conventional five-door layout with a spacious, luxury-focused two-row cabin.
Translating Track-Bred DNA into a Super-SUV
When tasked with visualizing this future model for Auto Express, our primary focus at Avarvarii Automotive Artworks was translating McLaren’s low-slung, track-bred identity into a raised, four-door profile. The challenge with any super-SUV is maintaining the brand's dramatic visual language without settling for a traditional, boxy utility shape.
To achieve this, the bodywork sweeps into an athletic, coupé-like roofline flanked by muscular rear arches. The stance remains forward-leaning and aggressive, ensuring that even with a larger footprint, the vehicle looks undeniably like a McLaren.
The 6GT Influence and Aerodynamic Focus
Drawing direct design influence from the recently revealed 6GT concept, the front fascia adapts the brand’s signature deep-set headlight apertures, a heavily vented bonnet, and an aggressive lower splitter to guarantee instant recognition.
Because aerodynamic efficiency is a core pillar of McLaren's engineering philosophy, functional sculpting is woven throughout the exterior design. Contrasting aero trim, sculpted side sills, and guided airflow channels seamlessly integrate race-inspired aerodynamics with the vehicle's new proportions. It is a cohesive vision of how McLaren can confidently enter the super-SUV space while staying completely true to its distinct visual DNA.
