Future Ferraris – Top Gear Magazine (Nov 2024)



Project Description:

This series of speculative Ferrari illustrations was commissioned by Top Gear magazine for the November 2024 cover story exploring what Maranello’s next decade of design might look like. My lead piece — a modern reimagining of the legendary F40 — was featured on the cover and opened a multi-page editorial titled “Future Ferraris.”

Beyond the F40 tribute, I created additional concept visuals to support the feature, including:

  • The Ferrari F80 – a next-gen hypercar imagined as the successor to the LaFerrari
  • A fully electric BEV Crossover – Ferrari’s boldest step into electrification
  • The 296 Speciale – a more extreme evolution of the hybrid-powered 296 GTB

Each illustration was designed to feel editorially grounded yet provocatively forward-looking, blending established Ferrari design language with plausible innovation. The challenge was to channel Ferrari’s DNA across wildly different body types — from track weapons to high-riding EVs — while keeping the tone visually cohesive and aligned with Top Gear’s energetic storytelling.

This project highlights my ability to work from minimal intel, blend concept design with editorial needs, and deliver photo-realistic, future-focused illustrations for high-profile media outlets.
