The 2027 BMW M3 Neue Klasse (ZA0) will introduce a quad-motor electric powertrain delivering around 700–800+ hp, with potential for even higher outputs.
Built on BMW’s dedicated Neue Klasse EV platform, it features an 800-volt architecture enabling ultra-fast charging (up to 186 miles in 10 minutes),
bidirectional charging, and BMW’s new “Heart of Joy” driving dynamics system.
Styling moves toward a cleaner, minimalist look, replacing oversized grilles with a wider, horizontal front end, while the interior debuts Panoramic iDrive with a full-width display. Alongside the electric M3, BMW is expected to continue offering a petrol-powered, mild-hybrid inline-six version.
Production is planned for around 2027, with prototypes already testing and new sixth-generation battery cells delivering roughly 20% higher energy density.
