While the official interior photos of the Ferrari Luce have given us a glimpse into a Jony Ive-curated future, the exterior remains Maranello’s best-kept secret.

However, we don't need to wait until 2026 to imagine what this revolutionary EV might look like. I have created a set of speculative illustrations that visualize the Luce not as the expected crossover, but as the sleek, low-slung sedan that recent rumors suggest it will be.

Drawing inspiration from the "gate" style key and the retro-futuristic cabin, these renderings depict a "Next Gen" Ferrari that marries 1980s wedge-era geometry with the seamless minimalism of modern Apple design. The concept features a sharp, shark-nose front end with slender LED light strips reminiscent of pop-up headlights, paired with a slab-sided profile that eschews complex vents for pure, fluid lines. The aesthetic is anchored by modernized five-spoke star wheels—a nod to the F40 and Testarossa—and an airy glass greenhouse that puts the tan, sustainable interior on full display.

This vision aligns perfectly with the recent spy shots from Derek Cornelissen, suggesting Ferrari is plotting a return to the classic Grand Tourer silhouette rather than following the SUV herd. If Jony Ive’s touch on the outside is anything like these renderings, the Luce will be a masterclass in reductionist luxury.
